About Us

Resilient Point Roberts is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization serving the Point Roberts community. We raise charitable funds and help connect volunteers, organizations, and local initiatives to support projects that celebrate our community, care for our natural environment, and invest in its long-term well-being.

We are not an advocacy or policy organization. Instead, we focus on helping community support become community action by directing resources where they can do the most good. We collaborate with local organizations, businesses, and volunteers to help community-led projects succeed.‍ ‍

What We Believe

‍ ‍We believe that strong communities invest in themselves: in the artists and musicians who give a place its character, in the environmental stewardship that keeps it beautiful, and in the shared spaces and gatherings that keep neighbors connected.

‍ ‍We believe Point Roberts has been doing this for a long time, and that our role is simply to add another layer of support representing more resources, more capacity, and more fuel for the resilience that already exists here.

‍ ‍We believe newcomers have a responsibility to listen before they lead, to earn trust before they ask for it, and to invest in a community before claiming to speak for it. We take that seriously. If you have ever been to one of our meetings, events, or community consultations, you know that the voices in the room speak more than we ever do.

Arts & Culture – Supporting creativity, traditions, and community events.

Environment – Protecting the natural landscapes and ecosystems of Point Roberts.
