About Us
Resilient Point Roberts is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing funding and nonprofit partnerships for community projects in Point Roberts, Washington. We raise money and direct it toward arts, culture, and environmental initiatives— the kinds of projects that keep a community vibrant, connected, and able to look after itself for the long term.
We are not an advocacy or policy organization. We focus on getting resources where they can do the most good—supporting local initiatives through funding, volunteer coordination, and collaboration with community partners. This includes arts and culture, environmental stewardship, emergency preparedness, and events that bring people together.
What We Believe
We believe that strong communities invest in themselves: in the artists and musicians who give a place its character, in the environmental stewardship that keeps it beautiful, and in the shared spaces and gatherings that keep neighbors connected.
We believe Point Roberts has been doing this for a long time, and that our role is simply to add another layer of support representing more resources, more capacity, and more fuel for the resilience that already exists here.
We believe newcomers have a responsibility to listen before they lead, to earn trust before they ask for it, and to invest in a community before claiming to speak for it. We take that seriously. If you have ever been to one of our meetings, events, or community consultations, you know that the voices in the room speak more than we ever do.

What We Fund
Our current work focuses on three areas:
Arts & Culture — Supporting local artists, musicians, events, and creative projects that reflect the unique character of Point Roberts and bring the community together.
Environment & Sustainability — Funding environmental initiatives that protect the natural landscape Point Roberts depends on, and that reflect the community's longstanding commitment to stewardship.
Community Building — Investing in projects, spaces, and gatherings that strengthen the bonds between neighbors and keep Point Roberts a place where people look out for each other.
